Cesar Jimenez, Branding Consultant

Cesar believes that design lives beyond the screen; that it manifests itself in the physical world where people interact with it, connect with it, and, ultimately, make decisions based on it. He believes that everything we experience is, or has been, designed for us. Bad design hinders people, great design empowers them. Cesar utilizes design to craft positive experiences for people and communities—empowering them to become a better version of themselves.

He graduated from Steinmetz Academic Centre in 2013 with an Adobe Professional Certification in Digital Multimedia. And when college didn’t accept his certification, demanding he start from square one, he instead began freelancing any creative work he could do. Business cards, posters, graphics, invitations for baby showers, photography, food menus, you name it. That experience helped him realize he liked design, but he loved ideating, strategizing, and identifying the problems that needed solving. Sitting down with clients and helping them see his vision quickly became (and continues to be) his favorite part of what he does.

Carly Nichols, Digital Content Producer

As Digital Content Producer at Cove Creative, Carly focuses on project ideation, social media strategy, video editing, and assisting in production. She is a native Chicagoan and graduated from The University of Michigan with a degree in Film, Television, and Media and a minor in Philosophy. Above all else, she is a storyteller—whether that be through film, photography, or writing. She hopes to tell stories that celebrate human quirks and ask questions about our place in the universe. 

She has done everything from interviewing celebrities for the Chicago International Film Festival to shooting photos for a fashion magazine. She can be found directing, editing, planning, writing, shooting, creating. Just don’t ask her to do math.  When she’s not at work, Carly loves to draw, play tennis, sing, swim in lakes, and cry at cheesy movies.
